Daily Gratitude Post: Day 14/20 Australia

I came to Australia seven years ago and to be honest, I cannot imagine what life would be like if I didn’t come here. If I am to follow the conventional way, back in my home country, I’d be studying five times a week, won’t be able to pick up a part-time job and will be pulling my hair out because of the competitivity of the education system.

I am blessed and lucky to be here and to be graced with opportunity and love. I would not exchange this life for the life in my home country. Don’t get me wrong I love my home country, the people, the essence of family and cultural values they uphold are values I will carry on throughout my lifetime. It is just the experiences, opportunities, tragedies and trials I experienced throughout my life in Australia are invaluable and irreplaceable.

I cannot express my gratitude by mere words; it is too big that I believe the only I way will be able to convey this appreciation, is by my future actions and goals. Which I hope to reach and share with you guys in the future.

Thank you so much Australia, you’ve given me and a lot of other individual opportunities to discover and live a life that otherwise won’t even be an optional choice.

This country I will represent and wave the flag proudly. My home country and this country, both I will continuously appreciate and love.

What are you grateful for today?
